What we check, and what we don't build yet.
We'd rather tell you plainly what's real than let a badge imply more than it means.
The licence check is not a formality
Every operator applying to drive for us gives us their private-hire or PSV operator licence number, its expiry date, and their commercial insurance expiry date. We verify those before approving anyone — and then check them again, automatically, every time a job is about to be dispatched. An operator whose paperwork has lapsed stops receiving jobs that day, without anyone having to remember to remove them.
A job goes to one operator, never two
When you pay, the job is offered to the best-ranked operator first. Acceptance is decided under a database lock, so two operators clicking accept at the same moment can't both win — one gets the job, the other is told immediately it's gone. Two chauffeurs turning up for one passenger is the failure we designed hardest against.
What "flight tracking" actually means today
Give us your flight number and it goes straight to your operator along with your pickup details. What we don't yet have is a live feed polling an airline API to move your pickup time automatically — the operator adjusts based on the flight number and public arrival information, the same way a good meet-and-greet driver always has. If that changes, this page will say so.
If nobody paid for the job accepts it
A cron job checks every five minutes for a paid booking that's sat too long without an operator. It expires the stale offer, tries the next operator on the list automatically, and — if it genuinely runs out of options — flags the booking as unfulfilled and emails our team directly. A paid job with nobody driving it is not something we let sit quietly until someone happens to notice.
Why coverage is a short list, not a big one
It would be easy to list four hundred cities and take bookings everywhere. We add a city when we have vetted operators there who actually accept work — see how the booking flow checks this before you're ever asked to pay. If we don't have genuine coverage for your route yet, you'll be told that before a card is charged, not after.
